MORE ABOUT CPR WITH HAKEEM

I am Hakeem Sanders. This is my passion teaching heart saving skills. I became passionate after I had to perform CPR on an infant that I did not know in my neighborhood. From what I had learned about CPR, I was able to successfully perform life saving measures with confidence. I was awarded the Hero Award from the state of South Carolina Medic Department. At that time, I realized how important it is to know CPR because you never know when you have to jump in and save a life. In 2013, I started my career in the healthcare field working with Fort Mill Rescue. I am currently a BLS(Basic Life Saver) certified instructor through American Heart Association. In 2023, I was nominated and awarded the Healthcare Hero Award with the Charlotte Business Journal.  My goal is to teach as many people as possible and make others aware of how important it is to know these lifesaving skills.
